The North Africa campaign is said to be a classical single-player experience, similar to the previous games while the Italian campaign will be something more akin to a Total War-style campaign. The British forces are said to be well-rounded and resilient while the Deutsches Afrikakorps are mechanized and mobile. The United States forces are characterized as aggressive and adaptable while the German Wehrmacht faction is listed as defensive and intimidating. Company of Heroes 3 is launching with a number of ‘firsts’ for the series, including a Total War-style campaign map for its 1943 Italy campaign, new features in tactical combat, as well as four. Now a new trailer has been released which highlights all the game's features in a nice and condensed two-minute YouTube video. Whereas previous games took place primarily in one area of World War 2, Company of Heroes 3 will take place in North Africa and Italy. Publisher Sega would go on to reveal the game's new campaign and what new features would be available to the player. Company of Heroes 3 was originally announced in the summer of 2021, with the first trailer showing off its new features.
